Tour Tanzania
When it comes to safari, Tanzania really does have it all. It is the kind of place which experienced safari hands could easily visit four or five times, but it also makes for a fantastic first-time safari. Tanzania is the largest country in East Africa and almost one-third of its land is protected for wildlife conservation. It’s not only home to world-famous safari destinations that attract many tourists, but also lesser-known reserves that feel wild and remote.
Tanzania is quite possibly the quintessential African destination. Safari is certainly one of the most popular among our clients. It is the kind of place which experienced safari hands could easily visit four or five times, but it also makes for a fantastic first-time safari. These are some of the reasons why we love Tanzania safaris.
The Serengeti is the site of the Great Migration, where around 2.5 million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle follow the rains in a never-ending cycle around the park. The Ngorongoro Crater, a caldera created 2 to 3 million years ago, is one of the most game-rich areas of East Africa. Outside the crater, Maasai people share the land with wildlife. Most tourists favour the better-known northern parks, so those who travel to the baobab-studded Ruaha National Park and the vast, wild Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve) in the south have the privilege of an exclusive safari experience.

A trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro is a magnificent and spectacular undertaking, one which ranks among the greatest outdoor challenges on the planet. Kilele Savane LTD is the leading specialist in climbs up Mount Kilimanjaro. We have all successfully climbed Kilimanjaro over the years and have sent hundreds of climbers to the summit of Africa. We intimately know all of the various routes to the summit, and the realities of climbing Kili, and we are of course partnered with the very best climb team on Mount Kilimanjaro. We are also proud partners of the Kilimanjaro Porters Assistant Project organization that strives to protect the well-being of the quite incredible porters who make any Kilimanjaro trek possible.
Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak is one of the most awe-inspiring sights in Africa. Straddling the Kenya/Tanzania border, the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro rises up to an impressive 5896 meters above sea level. It is one of the world's highest volcanoes, the highest mountain on the African continent, and the highest free-standing mountain on earth; making it an international destination attracting trekkers and mountaineers from around the globe.
Since Kilele Savane LTD is the best tour company to climb Kilimanjaro. We organize hikes to the Mountain's peak using five different routes: Machame, Marangu, Rongai, Lemosho, Umbwe, Shira, and Northern Circuit. Despite the training, no special equipment (other than walking aids) or prior expertise is necessary to climb Kilimanjaro. All you'll need is a reasonable level of fitness and an uncommon level of certainty (the last 500 meters of the climb to the peak will be extremely difficult regardless of your physical state).
The seasons must be considered while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro: There are two "blustery" seasons, from mid-November to mid-December, as well as April and May, although global climate trends can render these "wet months" dry sometimes. Regardless, we schedule excursions during the rainy season, and while rain might be inconvenient, it can also bring snow to higher elevations, making the entire experience even more spectacular. You'll also have the mountain almost entirely to yourself, allowing you to admire it without the crowds.

The perfect combination along with an East African safari is a stopover at one of the region’s tropical island getaways. Here white sand beaches extend as far as the eye can see, palm leaves wave in the breeze and crystal-Clear water is ever-so inviting. Of the many islands off the east coast of mainland Tanzania, two stand out: Zanzibar Island, also known as Spice Island, and Mafia Island further south, where marine life is protected and plentiful.
The capital city, Zanzibar city is to the west of the island and the center of it is known as Stone Town. Stone Town is a world heritage site full of great historic attractions. Many of the narrow old winding streets and tall townhouses have remained untouched and visitors can explore the atmospheric labyrinth alone or on guided tours. But by far the main attraction to Zanzibar is its world-class white sand, and palm-fringed beaches.
The east and northern coasts of the island are lined with many fine hotels and small accommodation venues. A great way to enjoy the tropical paradise is to walk along the beach and visit other lodges for meals or mid-day cocktails. Some of the best swimming is in the north of the island where the access isn’t as restricted by tides as on the eastern coastline. The greatest part about Zanzibar is there are plenty of activities to keep one busy but it’s also the perfect location to do absolutely nothing but relax before or after a safari!
